Слова зв'язки в англійській мові, як і в українській дуже розповсюджені і вживаються, для того щоб зробити і писемне і усне мовлення більш зв’язним:

Though, even though, although — хоча.

In spite, despite smth (despite this, despite the fact) — не зважаючи на.

Whereas, while — тоді як, оскільки.

While — у той час як.

However — однак, але.

## Because/because of

**Because** – сполучник, вживається перед реченням з підметом і присудком:

Because he did this.

Because I have to do this.

Because I am so sorry.

**Because of** – прийменник вживається перед іменником або займенником:

They did this because of me.

I made the decision because of the difficult situation.

It is hard to believe you because of your lies.
